Currently, I am a supervisor at McMaster-Carr. I studied undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign majoring in Industrial Design and minoring in Informatics.
I am most interested in user research and designing interfaces. In the future, I aspire to build trust between my users and the emerging technologies.
I was a global IT product design intern at Ralph Lauren. I mainly worked on user testing and conducted competitor analysis on the metaverse space!
My personal value is to build my own APPLE:
Attention to detail: I pay close attention to every detail as I believe the smallest thing can make a difference.
Promised deliverable: Under promise, over deliverables. I deliver the best that I could yet be aware of my own limit.
Passionate learner: The only failure is failing to learn. I make mistakes but I learn from them.
Launching extra mile: Stay hungry, stay foolish. I constantly seek out new resources that can strengthen my design skills.
Empathy over sympathy: I believe in human-centered design. Always design “with” instead of design “for” the users.
I volunteered at ASPCA(American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and so far have fostered 5 cats! I also worked on a side project regarding improving the communication system in shelter.
I started rock-climbing since elementary school and recent year I have been obsessed with snowboarding. In fact, I am also working on my college senior thesis on snowboarding gear.
